Who's going to be based at those 14 bases being built in Iraq ??

How many troops could be housed at 14 bases? Why would they build 14 bases unless there were some long-term plans for the area? Could they be there for the coming change in military strategy? The new "threats" are in the Middle East and parts of Asia. Wouldn't it make more sense to have our troops closer to the action? Is that where the 70,000 troops in Germany and Korea eventually headed, over the next 10-year period?

I thought that as soon as the base relocation was announced. I highly doubt that the troops will be brought home except maybe for a limited amount of time until the bases in Iraq were ready for troops.

14 bases just don't run themselves, people. Think about it.
