5. I have to really wonder about the conduct of police

where they allow these people to just get in people's faces like this. If this isn't clearly aggressive behavior then I don't know what is. I've been to protests before where the police kept the two sides separated. Why? Because it was the right thing to do. That way no one gets their rights trampled and no one gets hurt. These punks are asking for it, and then if someone does hit back, they start whining about how they were the victims of the violent left. Shit! If I ever used the tactics that these guys are using on a right wing group, I would fully expect a violent response.

But then, that's what they're counting on. They want to be as obnoxious and aggressive as possible without actually assaulting someone, so they can claim they were the victims. This is why the police shouldn't allow this. They are inviting some major brawls by allowing this to go on. All they have to do is send them across the street like they were asked to do.
