I just saw a piece on CNN that was anti-Iraq war in tone
I don't remember too many specifics, but they told how things seem to be getting worse over there. They interviewed one soldier who questioned what they were doing over there, and another (a captain) who said how the younger soldiers were affected by watching their friends die. Matthew Chance was the reporter.

1. Very good.
Matthew Chance? CNN Main or CNN Headline? Maybe time to give CNN a tiny bite of carrot (to supplement yesterday's whack with the stick).

thanks.

6. It was on CNN Main
That's why I was so surprised.

I think it's an excellent idea to keep the cards and letters going to CNN. Let them know what we like and don't like. Positive reenforcement when it's deserved.

5. Yes, he was reporting from Najaf
He must be embedded. I thought I heard something about our military kicking out all journalists from Najaf except those that were embedded.

3. matthew chance is a cnn international reporter
you almost always see solid reporting with international correspondents. some of the best in the business in fact.

it's the DOMESTIC ones where you run into problems.

8. Matthew Chance from CNN Int. proves that CNN domestic could...
give American viewers honesty and excellence in journalism. Chance appears throughout the day reporting from Iraq on CNN International.

4. That Dastardly "Liberal" Media!
How dare they put such a spin on things by reporting the facts!
Look how the "Liberal" media influences people by using the truth!
How Dare they present REAL soldiers in a REAL war telling REAL stories to the American people!
How downright despicable that they show the real picture instead of showing just the stuff Americans are SUPPOSED to see!

I love it. Although I did not see the story myself.

It is my hope that the media has been kicked around too long and is waiting for October to begin lambasting the 'administration'.
By then it will be too late for Team * to retaliate.

should be good.

7. For all the boycott CNN stuff around here I found it ironic
that *gasp* CNN-Aaron Brown last night gave a lot of coverage with actual reporters (British accents and everything) from Iraq.

It's one bad situation over there. Basically, the military is dammed if they do, dammed if they don't.
