6. Well I just talked to a "person" at CNN

God, venting has never been so NOT fun. I know the "person" on the other end isn't allowed to respond, but it was like giving a great speech to a pillow.

Here's the straw(s)

1. "I Want Candy" Crowley talking about the Catholic Vote with some guy and presenting the issue as if taking "2 or 3 points away from Kerry -- who only appeals to LAPSED Catholics -- will swing New Mexico, Ohoi, PA to bush." When the latest Zogby poll (8/15) has K50 B37 among Catholics -- WAY better than Gore did in 2000 (only 4 pt. spread then). Which brought me to...

2. How CNN only reports CNN/ABC or gallup polls which IMHO are the most slanted out there. Then, as I was on hold, she ACTUALLY HAD THE BALLS TO REPORT THAT...

3. President bush slammed Kerry today for ordering the WRONG KIND OF CHEESE on his Philly Cheesesteak!! Is that news?!?!? I take issue for 2 reasons: (1) She said you're supposed to put cheeze-whiz on it. WHO THE FUCK WOULD WILLINGLY PUT CHEEZE-WHIZ ON ANYTHING?? Ugh. And (2) Who the hell cares about this? (Well Candy because the story was about food.)

Small straws, all, but I've cut back my CNN viewing time 95% but it's gotten so bad that the 15 minutes a day I watch it is a Repub circle-jerk.
