Is this abortion thing true about Obama?

Is it true that earlier in his career Obama voted to allow hospitals to place babies from botched abortions that were accidentally born alive to be placed in a soiled utility room until it died due to lack of food/water?

I'm not sure if I can really support Obama after hearing about something like that. Whether you are for strongly for choice or not, I'm not sure how one could really rationalize supporting this.

I'd welcome any sort of clarification on this, and I really do hope that this didn't happen and Alan Keyes just made it up.
