Poll question: Will the Saudi ad buy sway American public opinion in their favor?
Saudis buy ads to counter Fahrenheit 9/11

Saudi Arabia has launched an advertising campaign in 19 American cities to counter criticism of the kingdom's commitment to fight terrorism.

The advertisements, which will run until September 6, quote from the September 11 commission's report as a way of challenging allegations made in the Michael Moore documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.

One advertisement quotes the commission's finding that Saudi Arabia did not fund al-Qaeda. Another rebuts claims that the Bush Administration helped members of Osama bin Laden's family flee the US after the September 11 attacks.

Allegations of collusion between the Bush Administration and prominent Saudis feature in Moore's documentary, which the Saudi ambassador to Britain, Prince Turki al-Faisal, has called "grossly unfair".

1. Am I crazy or was I hallucinating?
But shortly after 911. Didn't the media report and show clips of Saudis having a fundraiser for terrorists?

2. Might even make it worse for
them. Are they any more popular than the 'French' in the eyes of most Americans?

3. That we be an interesting poll question to pose to Americans.
Which country is a better ally to the US? France or Saudi Arabia

5. Depends. Does it have cute little kittens in it?
Mmmmm... kittens. Kittens good. Saudis good.

Remember, every time you watch Fahrenheit 9/11, Allah kills a kitten.

7. People will say "The fuck!? Saudis advertise on my TV now?"
It's a bad move, but since the kingdom doesn't really have to work a similar system back home, they might not know this.
