Where is Dan Rather?

He's been gone for two weeks now. I keep mentioning it to my wife that they don't say he's on vacation, just that he was on assignment last week, and this week he is "off tonight". I think he may be working on something BIG. Anyone else care to chime in?

but I'm actually starting to worry about it. As an anchor it seems to me that he has a personal dislike for all-things-Bush and if he can tweak a story just a bit, he'll get whatever dig in he can. Of course, me being me, I appreciate this enormously.
