Need advice on replying to Republican campaign solicitation
Today I received a survey and solicitation for campaign contribution from the Republican National Committee. I am surprised that they should send this to me. Perhaps they figured that since I live in the Republican-dominated Collin County, Texas, I must be a Republican.
Here are some of their survey questions:

Do you support President Bush's initiatives to promote the safety and secutiry of all Americans?

Do you support the use of air strikes against any country that offers safe harbor or aid to individuals or organizations committed to further attacks on America?

Should the Inheritance ot "Death Tax" be permanently repealed?

Do you think U.S. troops should have to serve under United Nations' commanders?

The response options are yes, no, undecided.

Several of these questions are tricky and designed to elicit reponses that support Bush, even when one chooses no or undecided.

To top it all, they are asking for contribution of $25 or more. How should i response to this mailing? I dislike Bush so much that I am afraid I may write something terrible that may get me in trouble.

2. It's not a survey
It's another piece of propaganda. You might as well just toss it, they won't be reading anything you send back to them anyway.

4. If it is postage prepaid, put lots of heavy bumpy items in envelope and
return. It drives up the cost of the postage and they Have to pay for it. Don't put any marks on it, and if your concerned about repercussions, my kids, nieces nephews are such rascals. Must have pulled it out of the trash, hahaha.

3. Is there a postage-paid return envelope?
If so, tape that sucker to a box and fill it with phone books, cinder blocks, or an old set of freeweights. Put it in the mail at their expense.

5. I don't that that works - hate to say
And anything weighing a pound or more can't just be dropped anonymously in a box- it has to be hand carried to a post office.
