dissapointing, looking at the polls. It's something I can't quite explain. I mean, is some right-wing radio host or station becoming really popular? Did Nepolitano do something that people don't like? Are people blaming illegal immigration on democrats? Did the "first choice" ad really resonate there?

Oh, and on edit, I know some polls show it to be a close race, but looking at them in a group (and the selection of firms and sources and regularity is pretty crappy), Bush looks to me to be pretty surely leading outside the margin of error.

Opinions please.

Alright the polls here say we're in dead heat which is nothing to sweat over considering Arizona is considered a Republican state when you really get to the thick of things, but that label is about to rapidly change.

Napolitano won her seat thanks to Tucson being a very liberal city over all, and in Phoenix Republicans are losing their iron grip on that conservative leaning city.

Not to disrespect the smaller towns in Arizona, but the reality of it is Napolitano won because the Republican opposition just barely overcame in Phoenix, and in Tucson voters strongly supported Napolitano.

The same will happen for Kerry I promise do not despair.
