Military Documents Contradict Kerry Critic
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040819/ap_on_el_pr/kerry_war_critic&cid=694&ncid=716

WASHINGTON - Military records appear to contradict claims by a vocal critic of Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) that the Democratic presidential candidate lied about coming under gunfire during a mission in Vietnam, according to The Washington Post.

The newly obtained records of Larry Thurlow show that he, like Kerry, won a Bronze Star for the same engagement and that Thurlow's citation said he came under "constant small arms fire," the newspaper reported Thursday.

Thurlow, also like Kerry, commanded a Navy Swift boat during the war. Thurlow swore in an affidavit last month that Kerry was "not under fire" when he rescued Lt. James Rassmann from the Bay Hap River.

Looks like one of the major Swiftboat liars has truly branded himself as such. To quote many a Rethug pundit "which is it, he can't have it both ways"?

By his own admission he has branded hinself a liar. Why isn't this asshat giving his medals back?

1. Very wierd, actually.
That hate Kerry so much that they are willing to denigrate their own military experiences to smear him. I guess this is the classic "cut off nose to spite face" act.

I read a thread at FR last week where this Corsi guy was wetting himself with how he was going to bring Kerry down. I wonder if he's strutting so tall now? In fact, he may have inadvertantly torpedo'd Bush's campaign....oh, the irony.

3. The dissection of the Swiftliars continues...
By this time next week they will be fully exposed and, since Bush never condemned them, people will naturally put two and two together...John O'Neill lied and Bush CRIED!!!!

4. You give these jerks entirely to much credit.
What will really happen is the judge will refuse to hear it , or will sit on it for three months. It will all be hushed up. Money or threats will change hands. The possibilities are endless and in no time, all will disappear. These fuckers are crazy and near half this frippin country is crazy right along with them! The fix is in. We are now living in an alternate universe; some of us remember being somewhere else and some don't--they came straight out of the dark ages nine hundred years ago. I never thought it could come to this.
