1. I'm very low income, but have donated to

Kerry/Edwards
DU
Protect http://www.protect.org (for kids)
Equality Now (global women's rights)
Independent Media Center
Mumia Abu Jamal defense fund

I also have Working Assets for my long distance phone service, but since I don't make many long distance calls, and therefore I rarely have any long distance phone charges, I let them bill me a small amount every month that they donate to worthy causes. They let customers vote every year on which causes to support.

I click thehungersite.com every day.

There are also several organizations I cannot afford to donate to, that send me email when they need letters written or petitions signed, like ACT and the Farm Workers' Union.

In Canada, I also give to the Centre for Social Justice in Toronto.
