and worked in durham for awhile....

2. Things are looking up - Democrat Erskine Bowles should
take Edwards seat and Kerry/Edwards is moving up in the polls.
Last Democrat to carry North Carolina was Carter - but everyone is very excited about our chances this time. Mostly I am working on voter registration because the campaigns seem to have more volunteers than they can keep busy.

Chapel Hill is still too exspensive for most folks to live here and Durham is a good alternative world.
