How the F**k could Ted Kennedy's Name
Edited on Thu Aug-19-04 10:59 PM by louis c
end up on a terrorist watch list?

I smell a rat or someone's poor sense of humor.

After all, it's not like Edward M. Kennedy should make anyone in Home Land Security take notice, should it. How could anyone in the U.S. Government not recognize that name?

2. You can bet...
That this was dirty tricks.

After they lose the election, maybe a good number of them will do a "Full Segretti" and go to jail for a while. Share a cell with a guy called "Firehose" and not because he was a volunteer fireman.

3. Two of his brothers were executed by the state,
so it's only prudent to keep their eyes on him.

9. I see it as a warning to all of
Congress that the "boyz" have the power....

hint - Hitler had the entire parliament disbanded.

This is a warning to congresscritters of what could be next for them.

13. I'm afraid your right
Bush has the backing of the military. This may not be as simple as an election.

8. I'm sure there are a lot of people named Edward Kennedy
but what idiot security guard or supervisor wouldn't recognize that Edward Kennedy and let him board immediately? Hell, he's been a prominent member of congress for 42 years. Wouldn't any adult person in this country know who he is?

11. It was a simple clerical oversight...
When the Bush cabal was asked to draw up a no-fly list, they just grabbed their enemies list, editted the prominent names that people would recognise, and sent that along.

Silly them didn't check the list well enough and Kennedy's name slipped through. You see, only the non-nationally (or even globally) recognised names of left wing activists etc were supposed to be included.

So no worries, they'll just remove Kennedy's name and just standard lefties will get the grilling in future - no harm, no foul :-)

14. It's the only thing that does make sense, as far as I am concerned...
I mean, how ELSE is a Senator's name supposed to end up on the same list that has in the recent past been used to stop protestors flying?
