CNN = A duller FOX
It's the same damn thing without the fancy graphics (they do have that but FOX is still flashier). There's a reason why FOX is winning the battle. Atleast they have attitide. In all honesty I actually find the CNN people MORE annoying -- Judy Woodruf, that Asian woman, Bill Schnieder, Candy (Jabba) Crowley, Fucker Carlson, hmmm who else have I missed? There's a snide arrogance in the way they do things, but they are just as biased as FOX, though they'd never admit it.

FOX also denies their bias, but it's more of a "wink, wink, yeah you know we're full of shit, you can't take us seriously anyways" bias. C'mon does anyone believe "Fair and balanced!" (it sounds like a weird German slogan). Feirundbalanzed! or "We report you decide" (BTW do they still have the slogans? I don't watch the station anymore).

So stop watching CNN and FOX. MSNBC has recently become more fair and has actually had people debunking these SwiftLiars. They deserve some support. Watch them if you need to watch cable news...and watch CNN only in case of breaking news that MSNBC isn't covering.

The hell with CNN and FOX. It's just not worth it. It's trash. It's propaganda. It'll make your head hurt and you might end up damaging your TV by lodging something in it.

1. CNN has really disappointed me tremendously lately. I think they
are trying to be more like FOX in a desperate attempt to get better ratings. God, remember the days when TV news didn't care about ratings, and we didn't have this infotainment crap all the time. I miss good old Walter Cronkite, and Huntley and Brinkley. News on broadcast TV used to be considered a public service. Now with these cable news outlets, even the network news programs are trying to be another FOX. God damn Rupert Murdoch dumbs down and sensationalizes anything he touches, and he sure has with TV news.

2. cnn is sneakier than faux - but very obvious to the astute,
...but then again cnn plays mostly to the mindless, the ones that can't do their own thinking.

4. Watch BBC or at least CBC
Government run news from other coutries tends to be pretty fair. The ones here in Germany are. English speaking I only get BBC and CNN. I watch CNN to see what you guys put up with.

10. Kill your television
I had cable disconnected in my house for years and even though it's back now, I seldom watch it.

I get most of my news from the Internet. This allows me to get the gist of news from mainstream sources, including the online editions of television networks, but also foreign sources and some fringe sources. I think I am much better informed than most people. At least I knew that the Iraq war was based on a pack of lies before it started and that intelligence was being cooked in order to manipulate public opinion.
