by this time tomorrow, the main topic of discussion on hate radio, cable "news", and internet hate sites will be "Kerry shot himself to get his purple hearts". All because the malkin whore just made it up. We don't have anyone that dishonest to counterattack. There is no Dem(-leaning) journalist or talking head who will go on TV and say, "George Bush was arrested 3 times for using cocaine, and once for selling it", and just letting that (probably false) story dominate the news for a few days.

I don't see how fighting fair is going to win this thing...

I do think that the campaign is responding to these charges about right. They are refuting them. I think some of the liberals who get on TV aren't as good at pushing our position, but the campaign has to walk a fine line.

THere's a fine line between defending yourself effectively and giving free press to your enemies; a slam on the Malkin or particularly the Swift Boat Vets could backfire by giving them more credence. And in the Swift Boat's case, could put them in a more sympathetic place.

slobbering over her, giving her little prompts to trash Kerry even more.

What has happened to Lamb, who used to be so inscrutable no one knew where he stood?

And, who is this Malkin twit? I've seen her name all over DU for awhile but had missed her spewing lies, Coulter type act on the pundit shows, which I avoid.

I was shocked at Lamb for allowing her to spew lies. She acts like Brittany Spears, fgs! Where did she come from that anyone one even put her on a show?

Geeze any of us could write a book today filled with lies and get it published and appear on C-Span and get lots of attention! If you're Right Wing Repug, that is.

But just imagine how pissed off these RW goons are, because even though they virtually rule talk radio airwaves (as tyrants, not as duly elected public speakers) and FU(X) News and they have been huge bullies on the political playground, they haven't fooled EVERYBODY.

That percentage of us able to see, smell and identify lies and greed has not been tricked. They were counting on us. They are angry and feel threatened and may erupt or self-destruct at any moment.
