What's Going On in Iraq? Does anyone have good source?

I am reading different things.

One site said Iraqi police had taken over the shrine and alSadr's people had left.

But I just read that wasn't true - that alSadr's men are still holding it.

Does anybody have a good, fast news source?

1. Good luck. Journalists have been threatened, shot at, and generally

intimidated out of Najaf. Whatever we hear is probably lies.

2. Even the really reliable Iraqi bloggers like Riverbend

and Salam Pax have been silent for a while, although Salam Pax checked in with a "hello" on Wednesday, presumably to let us all know he's still alive.

I feel the situation must be deteriorating drastically there for the bloggers not to be able to go out and write.

I just hope we can get rid of Bush in time.
