Be warned, the Gore speeding ticket has hit the AP "People" roundup

We saw it here, earlier this week, and most papers didn't care. But the story is now on AP's daily People in the News roundup, that lots and lots of newspapers run every day as their "celebrity dish" stuff.

Of course, the Rick Perry speeding incident is nowhere to be found in the AP roundup.

Check your local paper tomorrow morning.

6. Who hasn't gotten a speeding ticket?

Now, if he got out and beat the shit out of the cop, it would be news. Otherwise, they just showed Gore is a normal person like all of us. (Except maybe he doesn't use cruise on the highway...)

I can honestly say I have never received a speeding ticket! (Knock, knock, knocking on wood!) I have been pulled over a few times, most of them in my former car because it matched the description of a traveling meth lab!! However, the last time I got pulled over for "speeding" was when I was driving to Tulsa to see F9/11. I saw a car in my rear view coming up on my right side and watched as it flew past me. As I watched it speed by me, I saw a cop and thought..."someone's getting pulled over!" I was right...it was ME! I was 'clocked' at 70mph on a 65mph four-lane highway! He just gave me a warning and I got to the film on time. It dawned on me that the car that had passed me and brought the cop car into my view was a SUV and I had a big "DEAN FOR PRESIDENT" sticker on my little car. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but in Oklahoma, I more than likely got pulled over because of my bumper sticker, not my 5 mile infraction! Who knows!

9. Oh my gosh, what's more important 3.000 people being killed in 9/ll

on Bush's watch or Al Gore getting a speeding ticket. Well of course, it's a no brainer it's Al Gore. Did they say whether he was wearing neutral colors or not? Gee that's so much more important than the USA's security or investingating shrubs no-show Guard backrground or insider trading.
