MSNBC-Tremendous audience growth!
Is this old news? Just saw it. Explains a few things happening lately, eh?

Tremendous audience growth (box just under the survey.)

MSNBC enjoyed tremendous audience growth over the course of the Democratic National Convention in Boston this week. For the full four days of the DNC, the network averaged a 1.2 rating, 951,000 households and a .6 rating 1,300,000 total viewers from 8-11 p.m. ET. MSNBC is up more than CNN and Fox News Channel in all key measures, including primetime and total day; households, Adults 25-54, and total viewers and households versus last month (July 2004), last quarter (second quarter 2004) and the same period last year (July 28-31, 2003). 4. is MSNBC testing the waters for a break to the left?
I think so. it's the only viable market share left. CNN and Fox are fighting for the same pinheads.

AAR, F911, motivated dem base... even if they do it only for the MONEY... they have little to lose.

my thoughts from last night after the Hardball/Countdown/Norville trifecta of dem-positive programs:

MSNBC Breaking Left?

If they just quit whoring they will reap positive results.

5. yep
I've been saying this for several months - MSNBC so far has had the most even-handed coverage of the campaign (at least during the day). Unlike CNN, their daytime coverage doesn't include any personality - Blitzer, Crowley, Woodruff - who makes my head explode. That alone makes it worth switching to MSNBC.
