Hey was wondering if anyone heard Limbaugh today. Couldn't catch much of it, just on the car radio during lunch. Heard the part where they were blasting Chris and the other guy on MSNBC. Was really sickening.

I really do not get this one bit what the hell people in this country are thinking when this attack is so blatant.

The Republicans constantly talk themselves up as the patriotic ones, the ones who defend, the ones who love the veterans of which I am one myself (Vietnam).

They have attacked John McCain as a veteran, a paraplegic, and now are lying and attacking Kerry. What kind of patriotism is this?

Also, as far as defense they are gungho on sending someone else's son, daughter, wife, husband, anyone but a good old patriotic republican.

I don't get it, it, can't understand how none could not see through this and what is going on. I have always thought of myself as intelligent, common sense, but I must be dense as to not understand how this can go on. Anyone should be able to see the lies and deceit of all this.

3. The right wing defines the terms....

to mean whatever they want them to mean at a particular time. They've done that with "patriotism", they've done it with "family values", and they've done it with "christian".

The problem is, too many people take their self-labeling seriously, instead of seeing the blatant hypocrisy that it is. And that's basically because most people are lazy, and want to be TOLD what to think and believe.

So, why don't we give them an alternative and start telling them things contrary to what the RW does?

I work with many vets. I never in my life would ever question any of their service let alone accuse them of inflicting their own wounds. I would be met by a punch in the mouth.
How dare this people, are they with out gall? Are they without morals or ethics? Are they splitting hairs to find something they can exploit? Yes, they are lowlife bastards.
They question a mans wounds that were received in combat, yet they don't say a damn thing about the very questionable service record of the moron in the white house.

Since she's been torpedoed by Bill Maher and Chris Matthews in less than one week, she's attempting damage control on her rickety image, and the only place she has to go now are to her fellow right-wing hate mongers.

And another dam thing, when the hell is Bush going to talk about his record, tell us why we should vote for him. He has had 4 years to talk about.

And the Swiftboaters are doing it to curry favor with a bunch of chickenhawks who never served in the military or who never saw any combat action. They are angry with Kerry that during the 70's he came back from Viet Nam and served as spokesperson for over 250 Viet Nam vets who wanted the truth about the war to get out to the American people and the Congress. Problem is the American people and the Congress didn't want to hear the truth. That is really all this is about. Just like the anti-war protesters who were right about the Iraqi invasion, the anti-Viet Nam protesters were right about that war...another war about which the American people were lied to. Incidents were fabricated, numbers of dead and wounded were down-played, and the costs were underreported.

Kerry, is telling the truth which is why this is driving me crazy. Think about it. Even the guy whose life he saved along with the others that were there and saw this happen first hand is not driving a steak in the heart of this dam lie.

What does it take to wake people up. It really is not that hard to see.

1) They went after John McCain a war hero.
2) They went after Max Cleland another hero
3) They are going after John Kerry, another war hero.

Who in the hell are the true patriots. It is'nt the neo cons.
