Why isn't Bill Maher's Real Time on HBO tonight?

I've been recording the HBO show, "Real Time With Bill Maher" for the past few weeks. It is supposed to come on at 10:00 Chicago time (11:00 EST). I was getting the tape cued up and about to set the timer and checked the HBO schedule to be sure which HBO channel it is on.

It isn't on tonight. Instead, one of the 10 HBO channels are showing Dennis Miller's talk show with Christopher Darden as guest at 10:00. I don't remember seeing this on HBO before, just on CNBC. At midnight another HBO channel has Dennis Miller's stand up show, "The Raw Feed" which is all political topics.

I Googled and found the "Real Time With Bill Maher" website and it says they will have a new show on Friday, August 27, but nothing about why no show tonight.

Has anyone heard anything about HBO having second thoughts about this show?
