Bush Is Weak

On Terrorism

President Bush is touting his record against terror. Yet his record in fighting terrorism seems to be one of capitulation and incompetence.

First, Osama bin Laden attacks and destroys the World Trade Center in part because of his anger at U.S. troops being in the Muslim holy land of Saudi Arabia.

Bush's response to Osama's attack was to withdraw U.S. troops from Saudi Arabia soon afterward.

Second, North Koreans have for decades wanted the United States to withdraw its troops from South Korea. But now that North Koreans have restarted their weapons of mass destruction programs, Bush announces plans to withdraw the troops from South Korea - yet another retreat in the face of terror.

This is on top of outing CIA operative Valerie Plame in the midst of a weapons-of-mass-destruction sting operation and blowing the cover of double agent Mohammed Khan, who infiltrated the highest levels of al-Qaida. Way to go, folks.

I truly fear four more years with these Keystone Kops in charge.
