Companies asking employees to waive rights
Edited on Sat Aug-21-04 01:41 PM by Wubette
Once again, we are witnessing the audacity of Corporate America's efforts to strip us of every vestige of dignity we have left.

1. Customers too - not only to waive right to jury - right to sue
I have some brokerage accouns with Smith/Baney, and I couldn't get them unless I waived all rights to sue - not only my right to go before a jury, but my right to go before either a jury or a judge. You have to go to arbitration - which, of course, is loaded with industry people.

As the government falls into the pocket of corporations, people lose all their rights.

2. Here is proof - an agenda item for the constitutional revisionists...
this is the way they are taking our constitution and bill of rights away from us. They have moved from plan to action for this item - obviously.

I am sorry that Toyoto if among them.

We have people in prisions all over the world without access to lawyers and rule of law - renamed enemy combatants because the military is afraid of trials by juries. Only if your family our country leader has clout do you get to enter into the court system.

Now - employees are asked to go before a single judge without juries because they are afraid of the juries.

The dumbed down are not dumbed down enough - yet - so they are still afraid of juires.

They want you silent, submissive, and bowing to their pleasure.
