Man fired for heckling Bush
CHARLESTON, West Virginia (AP) -- A man who heckled President Bush at a political rally was fired from his job at an advertising and design company for offending a client who provided tickets to the event.

The fired graphic designer said Saturday he won't try to get his job back.

"I'm mad less about losing the job -- I'm more mad about the reasons," said Glen Hiller, 35, of Berkeley Springs. "All I did was show up and voice my opinion."

Hiller was ushered out of Hedgesville High School on Tuesday after shouting his disagreement with Bush's comments about the war in Iraq and the search for weapons of mass destruction. The crowd had easily drowned out Hiller with its chant: "Four more years."

3. I do think he has some recourse
It's not like he fired a fat one up and failed a piss test. He spoke out, with his own opinions. When that comes to be the standard, we have lost all our rights. WTF has happened to our country???

7. You bet there are, just like my husband was fired for criticizing
Pawlenty and his draconian budget cuts in the Minnesota child abuse prevention programs.

An at-will state means they can fire anybody for anything - if they don't like the color of your shirt, your hair, where you were the night before, etc.

I just wish my husband's firing had gotten this much attention.

8. Ya know, if we all got fired...
If we all got 'fired' for one day, say on or about October 30th, we'd be sending one hell of a message to the rest of the world, eh?.

They do want to control what we say... it looks like there gonna have it their way. Unless. Unless we all get fired. Fired up.
