interesting points about the apparent exclusion of people who were right about Iraq. Media outlets seem to purposefully ignore those folks.

But if Ritter is blowing his own horn, that may be because nobody else is going to blow it for him. I bet he'd have preferred to blow it on the op-ed page of the New York Times or Washington Post, two places where his byline has lately been scarce.

1. The Media doesn't like to being shown up...
by those who were right all along about a hot-button issue, especially the invasion of Iraq. They would rather do navel gazing about their faults instead.

2. that struck me while watching Mo Do with
Russert last nite.
They both chuckled and smiled knowingly about
Bush's duplicity, the disastrous war, the slimy
campaign. Meanwhile, they retain this curious,
intellectual distance from what's going on,
and the fact that they were two people who
could have raised the alarm, but didn't
give a shit. No matter what happens,
they think, they will sail merrily on their
amoral, cynical way.
Maybe. Maybe not. I'd like to
see Mo Dos face in the last
millisecond after she realizes
Al Quaeda has planted a mini nuke
under her ass....

3. I watched a bit too; revolting.
So sad that she is one of the very few on the left, yet she lets herself be used like that. Especially by the likes of Russert.
