Moore books deal to publish soldiers' letters
NEW YORK -- "Fahrenheit 9/11" director Michael Moore has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster to publish a collection of letters sent to him by U.S. troops stationed in Iraq.

Slated to hit shelves in November, the tome's title will be "Will They Ever Trust Us Again?" The letters were received by Moore during the past year, and much of the correspondence was directed to his Web site, http://www.michaelmoore.com.

"I'm proud to give voice to the troops who have written to me," Moore said in a statement issued by Simon & Schuster.

The Viacom-owned publisher is additionally releasing "The Official 'Fahrenheit 9/11' Reader" to coincide with the documentary's DVD/home video rollout in October. The "Reader" contains the full transcript of the film, released by Lions Gate Films, IFC Films and Bob and Harvey Weinstein, as well as additional material.

1. Moore has done more for the troops then anyone
and Moore has done more for the troops families ..just by telling the truth. One man told the truth, and countered every RW shill , every RW talking head, every Hatriot and long winded chickenhawk in the GOP.
Of course the troops talk and write to him. So do their families. Because they know he tells the truth and will continue to tell the truth.
I have called my GOP Rep in Michigan about my stepson in Iraq, and he never called back and doesnt give a shit.
I called my Dem Senator, and his office did call back and they care.
The only people that ever sent packages to the troops in my life are DEMS, not republicans.
They are just talk.
Moore, and many Dems, are action.
Talk is cheap..the GOP hate the troops, and use them and abuse them and their families.
Moore cares, and the troops and their families know that.
