Half a mil is small change by their standards, but it probably helped someone in the company to redecorate their living room, or something.

that series of weekly speeches we were promised on the situation in Iraq in the runup to the handover of sovereignty.

(I think those have been delayed while the Pretzeldunce tries to figure out the meaning of 'sovereignty'.)

7. reminds me of poppy
didnt poppy give a speech about going to mars like in 89 or 90? that idea then cost way too much and was scraped. besides bush as governor never visited NASA untill the Columbia Accident in 2003. it just shows you how much interest he has in NASA
