4. I am with you on
getting rid of Scarborough--but why do we want Donahue back? His show was really lame and boring. There was a reason why not many people watched it.

5. Get your facts straight
Donahue at the time it was canceled had the highest ratings on MSNBC.

7. I was thinking in terms of
doing well in comparison to the competition--it was not winning its time slot, as I recall?

The last show I watched Donahue had the Atkins guy on--for me, the show just plodded along--it was not that interesting--and one hour felt like three--I never could bring myself to tune in again.

I would like to get rid of S. though....

9. Yup. Donahue had better ratings than loudmouth Matthews. It was
purely a political firing...because of course MSNBC is owned by
General Electric who has a big contract from your cabal government
in Iraq,

MSNBC was busy cheerleading to go to war and Donahue wasn't.

I like the intelligence and convesation.

Doesnt anybody ever get tired of Hannity and O;Lielly YELLavision?

8. thanks for the link. Here's what I wrote
Do you really think it's healthy for the united states to have this hate-filled vile human being spewing his prejudices on a cable news channel?

Let him go to AM talk radio, or let him start talking to himself on Hollywood Blvd like the nutcase that he is.

He's a disgrace to your news channel and a disgrace to the United States of America.

I will not watch ANYTHING you guys have on your channel until he is GONE and you APOLOGIZE for polluting America with the stentch of his hatred.

10. I Don't Want Donahue Back.
He's old and boring, he's the Gephardt of the TV show world.

They should give some new young sharp and insightful person a show.

12. Then you must be too young and Americanized* to appreciate Donahue.
Whats with the throw away and dispose of when its *old* mentality?

Nonononono.....this is not good thinking folks.

That is consumer driven, if you will excuse me, very SHALLOW thinking.

Havent we done enough swimming in the baby pool?

Donahue is one of the smartest, brightest, funniest, interesting individual talk show hosts around.

He ROCKS the kazbah. Case vacuum sealed SHUT.

13. It's nice that YOU think that...
but i seriously doubt his ratings would be any better the second time around then they were the first time around lol

so you would rather have a tired old man instead of someone new who could actually get NEW viewers?

18. I tried watching the Donahue show and it was the Jerry Fallwell show
it seemed like Jerry Fallwell was on every single show spouting his nonsense, and nobody else was talking.

Why the hell would I want to watch that crap?

16. I don't want Donahue back
It's time to look ahead not back. Surely there are up and rising stars that hold a Democratic message in their hearts. I would prefer to see Al Fraken or someone along these lines. Hell, all of these other repukes have both radio and tv shows.
