We need to hammer this fact, more than anything. It's not making it into our news. The companies that run ads, do not want this kind of thing in juxtaposition to their advertisements. It doesn't make for good sales. So the media doesn't show it, like they did in Vietnam.
Remember the wedding ceremony where we killed all of those innocent people? 40,000 is a hell of a lot of neighbors and friends, and relatives, and husbands, and wives. This is a massacre. And, George, for what?
If this really gets out into everyday talk, Bush won't have the slightest chance of stealing this one.
Spread this to everyone you talk to.

Edit- we hear about 900 dead. But we must hammer this 30,000 to 40,000 figure. That is what will change swing voters minds.

5. This came from tonight's Worldlinktv interview
Election 2004: The Middle East Factor.

Jamal Dajani, the producer of the nightly Middle East news show titled Mosaic, quoted that number. Both he and Hafez Al Mirazi, the Washington Bureau Chief for Al-Jazeera Television, were in agreement on the 30-40,000 dead civilian number.

4. This is sooo sad. One is too many
two is way more than should be acceptable.

How sad is this. BushCo rampaging through Iraq bring "his Democracy". But if one is paying attention one is aware many Iraqis are dying.

How Sad

8. According to Iraq Body Count...
Edited on Sun Aug-22-04 11:29 PM by JavaJive
it's more like 12,000 - 13,000 Iraqi civilians killed, not that that isn't bad enough. The 30,000 - 40,000 figures are probably either total Iraqi dead or civilian casualties. Sorry if I'm nit picking about this.

11. I trust the sources I saw on that show.
Worldlink is the only source I know to show "their" news, every night. It, and cspan are all I have.
I'd also like to know how many dead Iraqi soldiers have been killed. I ask because this is all in the name of getting rid of Saddam.

A vote for Bush is a vote for a murderer.
