never challenged in the media is this notion that bushco is trying to bring democracy to the world including iraq. democrats, anti-bush anti-war people...virtually everyone falls into this trap. notice how there is always the notion that the goal is democracy but the means are just flawed. this gives the cover that the neocon strategy is, at its heart, a good and nobel endeavor.
NOTE TO ALL. BUSH and CO HAVE NEVER SUPPORTED DEMOCRACY.
-USA. election 2000. -Afghanistan -Iraq -Haiti -Venezuela
Where is the support of democracy? Nowhere. Where there was democracy they have distorted, torn down or destroyed it. Where there was not democracy they used it as a cover for invasion, murder, wholesale pillaging and instituting their own form of non-democratic control.
IF THEY TRULY BELIEVED IN DEMOCRACY.
-firstly bush would not be president. -afghanistan would not have a puppet government ruled by an unocal lobbyist. there would have been a lloya jirga without the us pulling the strings and a real election where they may not like the outcome. -iraq would have had elections and the shiites would be running the country or there would be a parliament with actual iraqis sitting. not a new version of saddam we imported and the cia in the shadows. with the resources of the country being robbed out from under them. -haiti would still have its elected president and we would be giving him the aid and support he deserved. instead of murder, mayhem and destruction. -Venezuela would be just working on their own problems instead of trying to fight off coups and referendums that would not have happened.
No bush and the neocons are not supporters of democracy. Dont let anyone say it anymore and as soon as you hear it know you are being lied to.
