I can attest to that. I have worked in a conferencing center and have assisted with these types of calls for local/state/federal parties/candidates, etc.

They are actually quite interesting, and not at all the evil brainwash line we all want them to be.

With personal experience in both the local/state party, as well as in the business world, it isn't uncommon to have one last "unity" type meeting before going before the press, etc. Nothing is more embarassing than a misquote or a backwards statement.

admitted on his radio show that all the right wing radio hosts get a daily fax from the RNC. He said they all get a list of daily talking points; what the issues are and what they're supposed to think about these issues.
