Is Tom Selleck doing the voiceovers for the MSNBC promo's?
It sure frigging sounds like him. Just another hint of the "liberalism" of the network from guy who's other pitch-man jobs have included the NRA and the Weekly Standard.

I don't have any confirmation but I'm pretty good with identifying voices and it really sounded like him.

If you haven't seen them MSNBC has some new stupid "the network America's watching" or somesuch hogwash over shots of slowmo troops , generic "solumn" music, and muted graphics. Anyway listen next time to see if you hear Magnum PI as well.

2. I'm pretty positive it's Tom Selleck
I'm good at identifying voices, too, and it sounds like him to me.

I don't think it's at all symbolic of a right-wing bias at MSNBC, but that's just me. If you listen to the voiceover for GE commercials, you'll hear Alec Baldwin's voice, and I hardly think GE is a bastion of liberalism. It's about money and celebrity, not politics.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of people who think otherwise, and I'm sure I'll hear from them.

6. I agree, but
voices also carry a lot of emotional weight. I associate Tom Selleck with rightwing politics since he gave the introduction for Nancy Reagan's puff piece video at the GOP convention and since he's been a rightwing spokesperson. So, when I hear his voice for MSNBC, I can't help but associate the network with his politics.

3. I'm positive you're correct
It's Selleck for sure. Right wing Selleck being used to promote MSRNC.....makes sense.
Dollars and cents too.
