I just downloaded a transcript from his show today. In a mocking voice he announced to his listeners:

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for me to come clean about something...I have been carrying a secret for far too long...For as long as I've been hosting this radio program I have been denying something I did. Ive been denying something that I am.

"I was in the US Armed Forces in Vietnam...I was in Cambodia with John Kerry. I served shoulder to shoulder with John Edwards and Hillary Clinton, and if you want to know, Bill Clinton was with us as well on these "secret missions" to Cambodia...and I know many of you people have wondered about this because, I mean, I cut the figure of a striking military guy, and it's been so tough, but I'm loyal to the country...So I just want it known: I did serve in Vietnam, honorably. I killed commies...

"I will never forget my service, shoulder to shoulder with John Edwards during those Vietnam days. I feel deeply, deeply hurt that I've had to keep this truth from you for all these years, but my service to my country was more important than my integrity and my reputation."

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? This is a guy who dodged Vietnam because he had a cyst on his butt mocking every veteran who served in that war - mocking their service, their sacrifice, their honor...What the hell is wrong with these guys? Have they lost their minds? How can Rush Limbaugh laugh and guffaw and snicker and make a joke out of service in Vietnam?

And they have an image on his website where they take the picture of Kerry with his crew on the boat and replace the heads of the other guys with Limbaugh's head and Hillary Clinton's head, etc.

I try to be rational and understanding about the different political views of different people, but this is just outrageous. These guys are out way beyond the pale. I am deeply offended.
