Any News on the Anti-Bush Book by Kitty Kelly?

From what I understand, the new book by Kitty Kelly and co-authored by Neil Bush's ex-wife will be quite a tell-all expose'.

Even Drudge is in high expectation of this release, and said so in last night's national radio show.

I'm expecting the release date of September 14, and parts to be leaked out earlier to that date.

This book, by all accounts, is to be devastating. It is supposed to include specifics of Dubyas drug use and alcoholism. His assistance in helping an ex-girlfriend obtain an abortion, Neil's participation in a one million dollar S&L scam, and much more.

I have heard bits and pieces of this gossip, but I was wondering if anyone here at DU has more info than I do?

If the book turns out to be half of what I heard it could, Georgie will wish this election never turned dirty.

He was a dupe! He's a wonderful man whose wife wouldn't accept that they "both knew" it was over when he left her and his children for his mistress (it was true love don't ya know...)

How do I *know* this? In what was trying to be a "balanced" article on the Neil Bush problems "Texas Monthly" explained to all its readers that Neil is a hell of a guy just trapped by other people. Sort of a naif innocent rambling through life being taken advantage of...so so sad.

I wish I had a million or so to send him.... /sarcasm

For all the whitewash, he sounded like an opportunistic, parasitic loser.

5. Even if it is true

Do you think the press will run it like they did with the Swift Boat ad? They pimped it for weeks without a scintilla of evidence to back up their claims.

Somehow I doubt they'll ever be as irresponsible giving air-time to rumors about Bush - no matter how much evidence there is to support it.

I say if it does come out, we make a major push to harrass the talk shows until they give it an airing. As the right wing pundits say, "I don't know if it's true or not, but it ought to be looked into. Why isn't the media asking these questions?"

7. Isn't Neil the one who was in

Japan and claimed that women just randomly wandered into his hotel room and had sex with him (he was caught frequenting prostitutes?), I think he was also one of those S&L crooks. Bet the ex-wife has a LOT of dirt on him!!!
