I swear I have not heard of any. Not even Howard Dean lately, though he mentioned it once, that it went to high levels?

Am I missing their speaking out?

a moral aspect. I don't recall a whole lot lately. Isn't congress in recess? Maybe they want to heat it up closer to Nov. People get numb.

2. I guess the lack of responses means no.
I am assuming. It is like a non-issue to our politicians of both sides.

3. TV Nation sees even legit criticism of the US gov't as HATING AMERICA.
I remember as a child playing baseball in someone's yard. When a batter on my team hit a foul and I agreed with the other team that it was in fact a foul, I was turned on viciously by my team members who obviously thought that anything goes when you're trying 'to win.'

I learned right then and there that people in groups are savage and irrationally aggressive with no use for ethics.

Public figures learn the same sick sad truth about Americans when they venture a criticism of any American power institution.

Group think, chauvinism, and ignorance fuel war. Humanity and justice get trampled into the bloody mud.
