Just saw Adam Nagourney on Charlie Rose. What drives me nuts is this painting of Kerry as somehow stupid for running on his biography. Why shouldn't he? Kerry was unquestionably heroic under fire. That's a fact. And politician's always run on positive aspects of their resume. The only reason it's becoming a liability is because people like Nagourney give BS legs by passing on the smear jobs of political hacks, no matter how unsubstantiated. Is it Kerry's fault people are lying about him?

If Jesus healed a leper, and some scumbag accused him of faking it and giving the leper the disease in the first place for show, would it be Jesus's fault for bringing up the deed? If Martin Luther King ran for office, would it be his fault for bringing up his civil rights record when someone accuses him of secretly building bombs with the Black Panthers? I suppose we should all blame Ghandi for pointing to his use of passive resistance when some colonialist claims he opened up on the British army with an machine gun. Kerry should have known better to bring something up that Bush will lie about! What WON'T Bush lie about? Using this line of reasoning, Kerry can't open his mouth at all!

How about blaming the scumbags, and the media whores who give them air time? Pulling a comrade out of the drink is not something he should have to hide from.

they have instilled it so, saying dems cant do battle they cant be commander in chief, so much people believe. they immediately started attacking kerry as the extreme left liberal,. because of bush attacks and lies kerry had to use his military, he had to use the ,ilitary, because of the bullshit bush was doing 3 months ago. and being we have a war.
