Haven't heard his name in ages. I thought he was the #1 target in Iraq. Did I miss something?

11. Yes! They seem to have changed the marketing strategy
or they are pursuing two tracks (Sadr and Zarquawi) alternatively and are evaluating the consumer response for each approach. Then they will decide how to procede.

4. They move to a more convenient target
Mr Sadr. They have plenty of photos of him and he so easy for Mr. US citizen to hate, since he has bad teeth and wears a turban. Keep in mind that prior to this occupation/genocide, the name Sadr never came up as being a "gathering threat".

8. Like Saddam was more convenient than OBL.
The guys Bush* can't get always seem to drop off the end of the earth only to be replaced by somebody more "getable". Funny how that works.

5. he's a fiction. a composite.
he doesn't actually exist. This according to Seymour Hersh. He said this at a dinner for the ACLU in San Francisco in July. I'm trying to find a link or a transcript.

13. Isn't that the case with Zarquawi, OBL, KSM, G.W. Bush and the like?
In all these cases, real world persons and images conveyed to us by the media are probably very different.

10. He's on a Swift boat. They ran the gammut with him. He is of no use to
them now. They found that they can get more political mileage out of swift boat attacks on Kerry but this is backfiring big time!
