Supurb Interview Sen Kerry.....Daily Show

Man John Kerry has mad me proud to be a republican that support him for President of the US.

Kerry spoke with honesty and really was having a great time with Jon Stewart......Bush would have sat there and probably would not have picked up on the implied humor.

My favorite question was the last........Sen Kerry is it true everytime I use Katsup does your wife earn a nickel....Bush would have thought that was a threat.

You really know when you have made a right deceission Im glad mine was Kerry/Edwards.......BTW Ill be seeing Kerry in Tacoma WA on Saturday

1. Thank you for supporting Kerry/Edwards
My husband grew up in Enumclaw outside Seattle. He was a Republican for much of his life. Now he is a strong Kerry supporter. I am proud of both of you!

9. Kerry came to central Pa, a conservative strong hold
I was unable to go because of problems related to my chemo, but was pleasantly surprised to see so many ( I think it was about 20,000) people show up at Harrisburg Pa. This is a very right wing controlled area, the signs you see are for bush the others are taken down, destroyed by right wing fanatics. However, this time John Kerry attracted an extremely large crowd, a good sign that although the corporate controlled media may be doing all it can to prop up the bush team, in reality many are doing differently.

We are so far right that Dem candidates tend to avoid it like the plague. It is such a lock for Bush that * doesn't even swing by for me to protest.

4. Hey! Thanks For Having An Open Mind. Welcome to DU!
I think clearly Kerry is the better candidate. Please let us in on how the Tacoma thing goes! No doubt there will be hecklers and you know what??? That just points out another difference between Kerry and Bush. Bush is too big of a wimp to face down a heckler while Kerry is a TRUE Bring Em On guy.

5. It was a good interview
Kerry mentioned things from past shows which indicates he may have been watching before and may be a regular viewer, when time permits.

8. Jon Stewart talked too much I think----stepped on Kerry's lines a bit
I'm sure he was nervous, but I would have liked just a wee bit more Kerry and just a teeensy bit less Jon (but I love 'em both, so....there ya go)

11. I thought the interview was very good for Kerry
Shows his personality more than we have seen in the past and allowed him to be more personable than more formal occasions call for.

Really, this will show people that he is not the stiff, formal guy they sometimes see, but he is a genuine and humorous man.

Plus, Jon is funny, but pointed out the lies and distortions very clearly and in a way that is accessible to most people.

13. Seemed nervous to talk in this forum..
but he did great otherwise.

I love how Jon Stewart's audience is always so pro Democrat. I loved it when they would cheer and yell when Kerry listed the obvious problems of the current administration.

14. I thought it was good interview
I liked how easily Kerry laughed and how he answered all of the questions with intelligence. It is quite a refreshing change from the trash that is currently infecting the White House.
