New Bu*h quote
I had not heard this, hopefully not already shared in here. I wonder if this is our official policy?

"Secondly, the tactics of our -- as you know, we don't have relationships with Iran. I mean, that's -- ever since the late '70s, we have no contacts with them, and we've totally sanctioned them. In other words, there's no sanctions -- you can't -- we're out of sanctions."

-- George W. Bu*h, Aug. 9, 2004

Gosh, I sure hope he has a few of those moments in the debates.

1. That's Dada poetry. It sounds like cut up bits of the NY times thrown in
the air and randomly assembled

He'll never debate Kerry

3. "I did not have relations with that country....Iran"
:spank:

Dang, he's so stupid. I think half of his success in debates is that folks feel sorry for him because he's such an incompetent ass.

12. On a serious note, the one problem Kerry will have in a debate
Will be not coming accross as pompous. It will be difficult. My 18 month-old nephew would seem superior to Bush side-by-side. Can Kerry portray his obvious superiority without degrading Bush so much that Bush earns sympathy?

21. All he has to do is pretend he heard an intelligent statement.

and answer it intelligently. Then just let the home audience sit there and puzzle over what Bush meant. The natural contrast between these two men is enough--he doesn't have to and should not roll his eyes like Gore did at Bush's idiocy.

Watching him on The Daily Show last night, I found him extremely relaxed and effortlessly in command of his issues. He doesn't come across as pompous at all; he almost gives the impression of being modest and self-effacing, without actually being so. Not quite sure how he does it--body language mostly, perhaps.

Would you repeat that?

22. In your dreams...
"Kerry's going to mop up the floor with this inarticulate loser."

In a sane world, maybe. But we're not living in a sane world. Just like last time, if the boy-king comes out wearing his tie on the outside of his shirt, the media will have multiple orgasms and proclaim him the winner. :eyes:

Wait and see!

How we've totally sanctioned Iran without using any sanctions because we've run out of sanctions.

16. Are you people nuts? George will slice and dice Kerry
Bush is a master debater, totally untouchable! He's got the Irish Gift of Gab, multiplied by the lyric tones of the Welsh. The man's an orating machine, and he'll have Kerry reduced to a puddle of sweat within three minutes of the beginning of the first debate!

And if he doesn't, well, then he's a total flop.

20. Kerry was smart to pump Bush on Daily show last night
mentioned how Bush is a great debater, he beat Ann Richards and Al Gore. 86's the Kerry is going to crush poor Bush in the debates lowered expectations bullshit. NO MR. BUSH, you are the president, answer the fucking questions, you're the one who thinks he doesn't have to answer to anyone.

17. Like the thread yesterday...Bushed on phonics.
Really, he should try and pick up a newspaper sometime or maybe a book, without pictures or pop-ups that is. The worse thing is that his idiocy gets broadcast all over the world.
