Should I Start Worrying; Vol 4
Read it and Wonder about it.

Clinton blew his Saxophone and won the election.
Kerry blew cold on this show and I'm wondering if he's blowing the election.

1. yes
you should panic.

Run around with your arms flailing. Run faster! Good.

Now curl up in a fetal position and cry. Cry harder! Good.

Thank you for acknowledging that all presidential races are won or lost on a basic-cable comedy show.

4. Wait until after the pugs convention
they haven't seen anything yet

the Democrats are more unified then they have been in years

for 12 years the media through the pukes have been trashing the Democrats patriotism and ideals. They have made liberal a "bad" word

Will the sleeping giant will wake Nov. 2, 2004

and they won't know what hit them

3. Against any other incumbent president he wouldn't have a prayer
but against the zero presently occupying the White House, Kerry's got a good shot. Not a lead-pipe cinch, and it's going to be close, but never underestimate the fear and loathing that 50% of the people feel for Bush.

6. I actually thought that Kerry did really well
He wasn't too stiff, and he was able to roll with the funny. And John Stewart handeled him really well, too.

7. I thought that he was relaxed
and seemed very Presidential and that is something that we have been sorely lacking.

8. I thought Kerry did quite well, It's a comedy show, not a cable spin
channel, of course they are going to smear it, it take business away from them. Cable whores, If you want Kerry's Business...Interviews, get honest and praise him for coming. All you do smear him, so what do you think. How often does the great devil Bush do one on one, no edits interviews... ha ha Never.

10. uh, yeah
I thought he did very well. Maybe you just need to turn up the thermostat in your home if you thought he was 'cold'.

11. Wow...who knew?

Hi,

Wow...and I thought Kerry did very well. I saw a sense of humor, but he was still able to get his point across.

Cheers,
Kim :toast:

12. That article is obviously quite biased.
It exaggerates everything bad and passes over everything good.

14. He was awesome!
I thought he did a great job; he came across as honest, insightful, self-deprecatingly funny, and a guy you could trust with the free world because he HAS a brain. I was very proud of him. :)

15. Newsflash: Kerry isn't Clinton
Edited on Thu Aug-26-04 02:13 AM by incapsulated
Unfortunately, no one is. Fortunately, we aren't running against a Republican Clinton, we are running against Bush. Bush the lesser, to be exact.

He did fine.

17. I'm Curious as to what the reaction might be...

IF (and that is a BIG if) Kerry is defeated, would some people actually leave America? I mean I think everyone remembers the Republicans outrage over Alec Baldwin's SUPPOSED "Going to Canada" remark.

I can't say that I'd be surprised if quite a few people actually did decide to leave. IMHO, Good Riddance. I don't mean that as an insult to them, I see their point but still! I just mean that if you have a huge problem with your government, Why would you abandon your country in its hour of need when you could stay and maybe make a difference by changing it. In the words of Thomas Paine...

"These are the times that try men's souls...He that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.
These are the times that try men's souls...Tyranny, like Hell, is not easily conquered.
These are the times that try men's souls...The harder the struggle the more glorious the triumph."
