We have been notified that you may be under cyber attack. Apparently a
group of individuals are gleaning info on Democratic Underground.com
members and other political sites from the Democratic perspective and
are trying to put together a list of emails, names, addresses and other
personal info. Please advise your fellow members to be very careful who
they send emails to in connection with the Democratic Underground.com
site.

We have also picked up info that indicates there may be a cyber attack
on that forum itself on either late Saturday or Sunday night this week
or next. Our info relates that it would be a coordinated DoS operation.
This is preliminary info only

2. Cyber Investigations?
I never take seriously anyone who claims to know dick-ola about the internet and still uses the word "cyber".

9. who cares what they think
what are they gonna do? Kill all the computers? Then we get out on the street and tell everyone, "My computer got killed by some assclown that couldn't take any critizm". Jeez, it's not like we need these things, all though they do come in handy.

But seriously, really. . . "cyber" is a word that news anchors use so that old people will pay attention to internet stories. I haven't really heard an IT person (and I am one) use the word "cyber" since, say, 1999. Actually, the common usage of "cyber" now is short for "cyber-sex". So apparently Republicans are going to try to have cyber-sex with me through my computer?

Eww, now that I think of it, that's just gross. Though it might be my only chance to give Coulter a http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=one+eyed+pirate&r=f">one-eyed pirate.

10. Ding!
And trying to get us to be "very careful" about who we e-mail. I hate when people think I'm as stupid as they are.

7. definitely repost in ATA
or PM it to skinner, EarlG, Elad directly. if they haven't already been contacted by this 'Nelson' about the DoS, then something's fishy...

it's not clear why he would contact YOU directly, which makes it a little suspicious.

13. If somebody is impersonating a "detective", then that needs to be looked
into.

I see this hasn't been posted in ATA.

Will you please take this to Skinner et al?

Thank you.

Kanary

15. If this clown was the "cyber pro" that he wants you to believe he is
he wouldn't have put a space (twice) between Democratic and Underground in the domain name.
