1. Juan Cole is an excellent commentator -- thanks for the heads up!
I generally watch the NewsHour every night, but tonight I was watching the local newscast -- featuring coverage of John Kerry's Minnesota visit today, including a surprise stop at the Minnesota State Fair. (woooo hoooo!)

But it was good to see a live face behind the words.

Woo Hoo! also for the Kerry stop in Minnesota. It is times such as these that I Really wish I did not live in such a dark blue state.
