An honest Republican

A Republican candidate for Congress recently explained his campaign strategy:

"Every person who opens the door — as long as they're white — I'll say, 'I'm James Hart. I'm running for Congress.'"

If you've been watching our country for the last few years, you've probably noticed that the Republican party has been making war on people of color -- working to take away their rights, put them in poverty or in jail, and make them suffer. Four years ago, George W. Bush was able to seize power in the U.S. after his brother Jeb robbed 50,000 African-Americans of their right to vote. This year Jeb Bush has sent men armed with guns into the homes of elderly Black voters, in a transparent attempt to intimidate them out of voting.

I'm grateful to James Hart. He's an honest Republican. He tells the truth about Republican values. You can read about Republicanism in its purest form at Hart's own website, here:

Physical impossibility. Inherent contradiction. Honest and Republican are mutually exclusive. The guy may tell the truth about his racism, but that is probably the only thing.
