It's the weekend so stop me if you've heard this before but
...when my friend asked, will I be watching the Republican National Convention, this was my reply:

I'll probably not be able to watch it directly. Like an eclipse, I think direct viewing would be harmfull..

How about the rest of you? How much can YOU stomach?

2. Nope. I couldn't take it. Unless I'm flipping channels and happen
upon something or someone interesting (which isn't likely). I pretty much know what it's going to be. All I care about is the bounce he gets from it.

6. I'm not sure what I'm doing...
...the curiosity is killing me, but these f*ckers are anything but predictable...

They'll puff up Dimson's record (and lie).

They'll knock Kerry's record (and lie).

They'll make lame-ass jokes about progressives (and lie).

They'll blame anything wrong in NYC that week on the protesters (and lie).

They'll prove my personal theorem that when PLAN-A doesn't work, then PLAN-B shout not include more of PLAN-A.

There, I just save some poor soul a week of pain.

Now go watch some Marx Brothers, it's good for you.

I used to say from night to morn,

8. I'll watch on MSNBC
and see if they give the RNC the same level of criticism they did the Dems. I'd had it with them after about an hour and ended up watching it on CSPAN and just clicking back to check in after the big speeches while the crowds were cheering.

If MSNBC doesn't give the same treatment, HBO, TLC, HGTV, and Comedy Central's ratings will be plus one. :)
