It's official. American prestige has cratered.
The Secretary of State of these United States has decided that he cannot attend the Olympic closing ceremonies in the capital of a NATO ally because if he went he would be pelted with so much garbage that it would mortify our nation and cause Bush to be booted out of office.

Respected around the world...

2. Nah...I think he's got his hands full with the spy thing.
There's going to be some thoroughly pissed off ME countries AND the UK. His phone lines are probably on meltdown.

11. Sing it, Colin ...
What Colin should be singing:

(To the tune of "YMCA")

Young men, we must send you away
Because Saddam, he's the guy who must pay
He's got weapons, of the destructive kind
So go ... kill ... him ... if ... you ... don't mind

Saddam, he has al-Qaeda ties
That's according to our CIA spies
I said young men, put your ass on the line,
Big Busi-ness wants kick-backs, so fine

It's fun to lie about ... W - M - D
It's fun to lie about ... W - M - D
They got that yellowcake
They've got chemical stocks
That Saddam he is sly like a fox

It's fun to look for those ... W - M - D
It's fun to look for those ... W - M - D
We will lie to your face
We'll send you into hell
And George Bush will say ALL IS WELL ...

7. Here's a really clear sign

We never saw signs like this when Clinton was in office. Just last week Clinton went to Ireland and 1000's of people lined the streets to great him. Oh to go back to a time, when we had dignity and honor in the Oval Office.

9. And, did any of our RW networks show
us any of that Ireland love? I didn't see any of it. NONE. ZIP. ZERO. In fact, I wouldn't even have known that Clinton was in Ireland had I not read it on DU.

Wouldn't it have felt good to see the people in Ireland receiving Clinton with open arms? Wouldn't it have made you feel good to know that we are not hated by everyone? Wouldn't it have felt good to know that that the hatred toward the U.S. is really just hatred toward the chimp, and not toward EVERYONE? Even though we know in our minds and hearts that it's our government and it's policies the world hates, wouldn't it have felt good to just SEE some warmth directed at our country through Bill Clinton? One would think the media would like to show the citizens of this country something like that, just to give us some hope, but Nooooo, they just can't make the asshole in the WH look bad, can they? The chimp is protested wherever he goes and Clinton is loved and admired. Of course the WH told the media not to show us the Clinton adoration because it would reflect badly on the idiot-in-chief.

or Greek Resturants. Gee, you won't even be able to eat if you live in Astoria.
