hmm... does it seem that the media is shifting a bit??
making public that bush said that he "miscalculated' the wars after math... Powell not going to Greece, and now this leak of a spy in the pentagon?
some of my friends think that the pentagon does NOT want bush in there for another4 years... what are your thoughts

1. When they start hammering..............
these Bush stories 24/7 like they have with the Swift Lairs, then maybe I'll entertain the notion that they've changed. I'm not going to hold my breath however.

5. They only shed crocodile tears over the Smear Boats
so that they could look like good guys while giving those lying scumbags maximum exposure.

They're not changing and they're not going to change. They know the Bush crime gang will help them increase their monopolistic hold on all major media in this country. They're terrified the Kerry team might actually start to enforce antitrust laws.

2. No change
Just briefly mentioning facts so they won't get embarrassed. It will be dropped rather quickly, most likely.

ones who knew of some of the shit that went down and asked "why isn't the media picking this up"
maybe it is just wishful thinking.. but they are SLOWLY doing this

3. I know my retired Spec Ops Col friend
is not voting for bush because of what he and Rummy has done to the Army.

There are a lot in the Pentagon IMHO, that will be going into the voting booth and voting for Kerry just to get rid of Rummy and friends.

And on your point, yes Chris M and others are not so "Bush is God" as they once where.

4. Nightline did a great piece on prison abuse last Thursday.
I thought it revealed Boo$h to be the lying weasel he is by showing similarities in the Brazoria County/Abu Ghraib torture methods........comparisons of his statements as Governor, then President contradicted one another and nailed him with his admission that "if he'd known videotape existed (in Texas) he'd acted sooner".

I wish Chris Bury(sp?) held the 'Nightline' anchor spot permanently.

7. When they start acknowledging that Bush does not deserve re-election
Edited on Sat Aug-28-04 08:34 AM by wishlist
and begin pointing out all of his failures and scandals of his White House and the total lack of accountability and oversight and how this is dangerous for our democracy, then I will agree.

The fact that he seems to be polling ahead of Kerry in some polls right now could make some in the media more inclined to be critical to Bush a bit more, now that they think they knocked down Kerry's lead. I believe that some in the media hope Kerry wins, but still would like to see the race as close as possible up until the last minute, which is very risky since so many in the media obviously must want Kerry to lose.

9. You start to believe they might, and then
some dumbass CNN reporter points out that "It's Abortion Day" in NYC just because there's a clip of Planned Parenthood marching.
