What group is most responsible for the division in America ?
Is it the fundamentalis Christians who wish for all of America to follow their moral codes? The anti-abortion and anti-gay crowd? Or is it the big corporate media that would sacrifice their grandmothers for a better bottom line? Or is it the "hate Bush" crowd that the Repubs blame for all the division? Or is it the politics of George W Bush and the Neo-Cons in the WH? Or is it the right-wing radio crowd of people like Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and comrades? Is it any of the above? Or is it all of the above? Are we headed for a perfect storm of hate?

4. It's the fat cats.
The repubs dance to their tune. The ultra-wealthy want to mortgage this country and have everyone fall in line with their wishes.

6. We all are, in our own ways. But in general, those doing the worst are
those with money and/or media. Both of those groups have the power to manipulate. If they are corrupt, anything they work with also becomes corrupt.

And that includes *, the oil barons, corporate execs, media moguls, et al.

8. The cause of division ...
As you know, many on the Right blame protesters for the conflict and division. Those who have and enjoy great power and wealth accuse protesters of being "unpatriotic trouble-makers" who are trying to start "class warfare."

That's a very old tactic, but it still works. In fact, during the Eighties and Nineties it worked very well, and it's still working. It's why Republicans rule. But it's a lie, of course, and it's the other way around. It's blaming the victims. We all know that.

But "are we headed for a perfect storm of hate?" I think we're there already. It could get worse, of course, and it may unless something happens to stop it.

Many on the Left think we can stop it by replacing Bush with Kerry. But while that will help temporarily, it won't produce the change that we really need. We need to stop the partisan political warfare once and for all.

A way to do that is suggested in a book I recently read. The title is What IS the World Coming To? (ISBN: 059531998X) It calls for and predicts a reformation of government and religion.

10. See my post above: "The cause of division..."
There is a way to stop it, and not just temporarily.

11. J, I just bought that book, but it was an e-book
and I haven't had a chance to read it yet. Unfortunately, I have to read it on the computer because it doesn't allow me to print it. I've never read an entire book on the computer before.

Can you tell me what I should look for?
