it's time to take off the gloves
bush bashing has waned in recent weeks since the convention. it's time to go after this guy with everything we have.

i can't believe the national debate is centered around kerry's war record. it's time to change the subject back to bush's lies.

let's face it, negative campaigning works. we just have to ask the people 'do you really want 4 more years of this guy?"

the question is how do we do it?

3. I think once the Repug Love Fest is over
The Kerry Campaign and the rest of us will be slamming these guys with everything we've got.

Just look at what happened last night. Our friends at the FBI & CIA who hate the neocons even more than we do, especially Rummie and his civilians, dropped theie first major bomb. It took at least half of the preprogrammed news coverage for the convention off the air.

I'd say we're already off to a good start.

7. We can't.
..at least, as a party, we can't. We have a candidate who begs and pleads for the Republicans to play nicely. We have a candidate who doesn't go after Bush's record in Vietnam, doesn't go after him on Iraq and doesn't go after his ties to corporate corruption. While Kerry is trying to lead the Sunshine Express, being all happy and smiley, Bush is successfully framing the debate how he wants it, setting the tempo of discussion with the Swift Boat Veterans.

We've already lost. Pack up your things and go home. Save your energy for a better, stronger candidate.
