Boosh Saved US From 9/11?

Listening to the talking heads, you'd get the idea that boosh had saved America from 9/11.

They say he can protect us from terror, they say he is the best candidate who can win the war on terror.

What a friggin' crock! He sat there for 10 minutes that morning. He deserted his unit in Texas. He thought the CIA breifing about OBL was just background. He lied to us about WMD.

What kind of drugs are the talking heads doing? What flavor of kool-aid are they main-lining?

Why do they hate America? Why do they hate us? They must be terribly afraid of what we could do if we all came together.

1. the fact that it happened on his watch should

scare the shit out of Americans. Instead the heartland embraces him.

more think bush is better at fighting the war on terror. Which is absolutely alarming.

2. It's the media's fault

Every time some talking head says boosh can lead us better, there is no response pointing out that it happened on his watch, or that he did one damn thing to prevent it from happening.

Every freedom loving, truth seeking American that goes on tv, needs to begin countering the idea he is a capable leader in the war on terror.

3. If people took a long look...

At where our money has gone SINCE 9/11, they would blow a gasket. Cuts for firemen and policemen, bill after bill turned down by the White House, which would increase security at our ports and nuclear facilities, airports and borders still not secure, the National Guard all deployed overseas instead of protecting the homeland, etc.

Farhenheit 9/11 showed a lot of things, but one part of that movie that nobody has ever discussed to my knowledge is the story of the one Oregon policeman who was responsible for 300 miles of coastline. In one area, a malfunctioning telephone served as a police station. Perhaps the 200 billion (or whatever the number is now) spent for a war of choice could have been better used? Naaaaaaaaah.
