The neocons are going to be purged. The Plame scandal will be the silver bullet.

It does not mean that bush will definitely go down, it means that bush is willing to sell out the neocons to stay in power. Its why hes alligning himself to the fundies.

too complicated. Investigations will start, independent commissions, Committees. It is SO reminiscent of Iran/Contra. That thing should have been an earthquake. Instead, a couple of guys get caught and then get pardoned.

I'm not sure what the answer is. Get the story out in bite sized morsels? Focus on one aspect only (or at least one thing at a time)? Do we have enough control over this to make that happen?

that this will break wide open and blow people away at all. We've had so MANY scandals that were big for between a minute and a couple of weeks and there have ALWAYS been ways the administration and the propaganda press have found to simply change the subject.

Are you suggesting that Bush and his close operatives have a plan to purge the neo-con elements (wealthy,corporate and military power elite) from their position of power and influence and allow the fundamentalist (Christians) move in? What evidence is there at this moment that such an event is happening or even about to happen before the election? If such an event were to take place it would have to be before the election. After the election all bets would be off regardless of who wins. Or am I totally missing something here?:shrug:

No. Bush will not do the purging. The purging is taking place by various elements within the civilian government. There are people who work for the government who believe in what they do. I suspect that if I were in a position of power in government, I would be looking for ways to leave clues laying around.
