* spoke clearly, and articulately in 1989. What happened to his brain?

On The McLaughlin Report this morning they showed a clip of bush speaking while his father was in office, and he had some job with the administration (I think). In the clip they showed he spoke about his father's speaking ability, and he spoke extemporaneously, thoughtfully, and articulately in long sentences.

What has happened to his brain since then that he can only speak awkwardly, in short phrases, half of which do not make sense?? It wasn't the same bush we see now.

alcohol and cocaine abuse plus the stress of his job has turned him into what you see and hear today. it`s showing up in more and more people his age..that and hep c. remember those commercials about drug abuse? "this is your brain on drugs"?

I bet an mri of his brain would be nasty. We should require them for presidents and their staff.

6. Yeah, I'd be curious to see his debate(s) with Ann Richards......

I wonder if he was coherent then, and able to speak. Somehow he won that election.

8. It was the first logo for the office of Total Information Awareness

I think it creeped too many out and they changed it.

5. He maxed out his brain capacity

as the figurehead Governor of Texas. Now he's in way over his head and he's freaking out. Years of substance abuse can't have helped. And maybe he's drinking again; that might explain all those "vacations."

9. They replaced it with a turnip as an upgrade.

Unfortunately, though the upgrade in thinking capacity did show improvement to almost that of a turnip, as with many upgrades it effected other functions - in this case he went from inarticulate to incoherent.
